1. INITIAL MEETING
o Discuss customer goals, ideas and vision o Assess customer’s needs o Collect specific information about the property o Propose project concepts [Limited] o Discuss project functionality and budget 2. ESTIMATION, PLANNING, AND INITIAL DESIGN AGREEMENT o Job specific: Sign Initial Design Agreement and pay retainer fee o Job specific: Meet with Architect and/or Designer o Draft basic conceptual plans and design o Discuss basic product selection o Provide basic estimated costs for the project o Review budget and goals o Discuss Insurance, Warranty and Guarantees 3. FINAL DESIGN AGREEMENT AND PROPOSAL o Sign Final Design Agreement/Contract and collect deposit o Discuss final plans and design o Discuss final product selection o Provide estimated contract cost for the project o Discuss change order process |
4. CONSTRUCTION AGREEMENT
o Review completed Construction Agreement/Contract o Discuss timeline and payment schedule o Assign project to production schedule o Finalize any outstanding details and plans o Project Insurance is in effect 5. CONSTRUCTION o Secure permits if necessary o Perform contracted work on site o Maintain regular communication with client o Discuss change orders o Sign change orders agreement and collect deposit o Project and concept fruition o Complete final inspection o Complete a walk-through with the client 6. POST-CONSTRUCTION o Provide final invoice including change orders to client o Accept final payment and sign Completion Agreement o Submit Invoice as Paid o Project warranty is in effect for the period of 1 year |
